Planning to get pregnant

  • I fear not to bear a child” “not to get pregnant”. That’s what I remember back then. And then I got married meaning Someday we will try having a baby but not right away so I carried this fear even after I got married because we thought we are not yet ready (although I knew I wont ever be ready until the day comes). And we still wanted to enjoy the honeymoon stage. So as I get older and older I’m worried I might not able to bear a child at that age (32) so we’ve planned and talked about when to try, so we set a month when, how and where to try and finally came to a decision. So we booked an out of a country vacation for this. But there are things we considered before trying to conceive and some of those are:
      • No alcohol at all
      vitamins (specifically follic acid)
      Cut caffeine intake
      Eat healthy foods
      Exercise (I did not do much I’m lazy 😉)
      Track ovulation period
      Save money? (Nah you’ll be fine)
      Relax

    Those are some of the things I remembered considering before trying.

    So we went to Atlantis Bahamas for 5 days to have quality time, relax, and away from stress. That’s September 27 onwards If I’m nkt mistaken (Mabye I can blog about that tour sometime) 😉

    Anyway let me talk about my ovulation calendar. The first day of my last menstrual period (LMP) is September 13, 2017 so the best days to conceive is September 24-29 so it’s perfect for our vacation. (Fyi, I have a regular menstrual period 28 days cycle).

    And came October, I’m expecting my period around October 11 or so. I am really hopefull that I won’t have my period and claim that I am pregnant. And because I am so excited after we came back from our trip I’m really excited to the fact that I bought a pregnancy test kit as early as first week of october (He didn’t know I bought one) and it turn out negative so I ask doctor google and said even if you are pregnant it will turn out negative because it was too early. So I’m still hopefull, and days closer to my expected period I am feeling pain close to dysmenorrhea so I lose hope and thought that I’ll be having my monthly period.

    2 days before my expected period, I had bleeding so yeah ok we’ll try again. Blah blah. Butttt in the first two days I notice that i bleed just a little. Like a stain brownish color so I once again ask doctor google and I read about an Implantation bleeding so my hopes came back ☝🏻 and run to the nearest store to buy a pregnancy kit (without husband knowing). I bought it around 6 in the evening so I had to wait till morning for an accurate result right? First pee in the morning. Yeah yeah I couldn’t sleep that time.

    At 4am yay its time to check, So the result…. tadaaannnn POSITIVE. I was shaking that time. ☝🏻🙏🏻 . I took a picture of it and send it my husbands phone while he’s alseep. (By the way its our 2nd wedding month anniversary that time. God is good). I sent the photo with an anniversary message to wake him up but he didn’t wake up 😠. I made some noise and finally woke him up and he kissed me and said happy anniversary. Really??? He didn’t notice the picture but the message? And then he looked at it again and wondering what it is and when he finally noticed it he hugged me. 😍 That morning was really unforgettable for us.

    I never thought we will conceive at first try, We are so fortunate and blessed.
